Adopted a sweet kitty, her name is Alma, the people there were kind and professional!
Went back and got another kitty. This guy was Mr Opposite, now he is Oliver. Such an amazing boy! I just love them!
The humane society gave this wonderful cat back to the BREEDER after the cat was found cold and hungry. No concrete evidence of ownership. Very sad my family took the time to do what we thought was right. The cat will be sold again for profit. Disgusting.
We had a very good time with the staff and the cats everyone so nice and me and my wife adopted Miss Dash and she just the sweetest little thing
We adopted Henna from the Humane Association. We visited a few different times, and we spent time in meeting rooms getting to know a few cats one-on-one. Staff was welcoming, kind, and understood we were looking for the right fit. Our adoption counselor was fabulous! We weren't rushed to make a decision, but when we knew Henna clicked with us, we were able to bring her home the same day. Henna settled in quickly and she's a joy; her purring and demands for affection indicate the feeling is mutual. One photo shows the meeting room; the other at home.
Hands down the best humane society I’ve ever been to. (EVERY other humane society makes it a MAJOR hassle to adopt; to me, it’s almost as if they don’t even want you to.) Not here though! Very easy process that allows you to bring home your new furry friend as soon as possible! <3
The staff here is so sweet and caring! They helped us find our perfect match Graceon (formerly) Tinky Winky.
We adopted these two cuties Niko and Norman (now named Cricket and Remy) yesterday afternoon and we're already in love with them! It is apparent that even though they were in a shelter they were still socialized with regularly which is perfect for our family. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They offered us information on guinea pigs, but also acknowledged that it seemed like we were familiar with caring for guinea pigs which we are so it was appreciated that they weren't overbearing on teaching us how to care for our new pets, but the info was there if we needed it.
I had a very pleasant experience at Fox Valley Humane Association. The staff is very helpful and accommodating! I adopted two cats Widow (Dinky) and Moot on the same day! The adoption process was easy as they talked us through everything. Moot and Widow are doing great in their new home!
